Requesting A Login Account
If you are a member of the St. Paul Central Class of 1987, an account has already been created for you. User names and passwords will be emailed upon request and verification. For more information, please contact dk@central87.com.
Logging In and Updating Your Profile
There are several ways to login to the site:
1. Click “Login” under Site Administration in the right sidebar.

2. Click the “Your Profile” link located at the bottom of your classmate profile page.

3. Enter the following URL in your browser:
http://central87.com/wp-login.php

During your first login to the site, you should change your password in the “Your Profile” section:

Add as little or as much information to your profile as you desire. Email address is the only required field, but you may leave it the default “classmates@central87.com” if you do not want your email address published. Be sure to click on “Update Profile” to record your updates.
Password Resets
If you forget your password, you may request a password reset from the login screen (click the “Lost your password?” link). If you have a valid email address in your profile, a new password will be emailed to that address. All other password issues should be emailed to dk@central87.com.
Posting Stories on the Front Page
In addition to classmates profiles, you may use your login information to write and publish posts (including photos) to the front page of the site.
Once logged in, click on the “Write a Post” link from the Dashboard or “Write” from the main menu:

Pick a title, then write the story in the post area. Pictures may also be uploaded and inserted in a post using the upload area below the post box. Please limit images to a maximum width of 500 pixels–larger images may be removed or resized. Select a category for the post (Announcements, Children, Jobs, etc.) and press the “Publish” button when you are ready for the post to go live to the world.
You have to ability to go back and edit your posts and by default, others have the ability to leave comments on your post. Click on the “Manage” tab or the “Comments” tab to edit posts and review comments, respectively.
A Note on Privacy
Posting information on central87.com is optional–share as much or as little as you want. This site was designed as a free alternative to sites like Classmates.com and to help the reunion committee plan the next reunion. Your information will not be shared with any other organizations, but all profile pages are visible by anyone with Internet access.
